Pixel Heaven Games Festival & More 2019 will be held on the weekend of May 17-19, 2019 in the Old Bus Depot at Wloscianska 52 Street in Warsaw, Poland.

BUT WHAT EXACTLY WILL BE GOING ON THERE?
You'll have to see it for yourself. For two days, every participant will get a chance to play classic games from the 1980s and 1990s on such computers as ZX Spectrum, Atari, Commodore, and consoles from that era. Of course, modern games will also be present. Other attractions include contests, flippers, comic book exhibition, amazing lectures, the PIXEL CONNECT conference, prizes, unique special guests, concerts, Afterparty, Demo Scene Night, booths, stands from our sponsors, partners and exhibitors...
WILL THERE BE ANY CONTESTS FOR THE PARTICIPANTS?
Of course – with attractive prizes! Apart from River Raid Trophy and flipper games, there will be held Pixel Awards Europe 2019 contest for the best indie games presented during the event. And that's not all we have in store for you!
WILL THERE BE LECTURES, TALKS, AND DISCUSSION PANELS?
You betcha! And they will be special! The DVLUP! MEETUP and RETRO STORIES 2.0. will be held on Sunday and Saturday. You can expect ABSOLUTELY SPECIAL topics and speakers. Retro Stories will give you a unique opportunity to listen to, ask questions and meet game creators (both the old boys and the young bloods), developers, journalists (including the editors of such titles as BAJTEK, TOP SECRET or SECRET SERVICE), as well as video games celebrities... The DVLUP! MEETUP, on the other hand, will focus on the business side of indie gaming: trends, development, sources of funding...

Unique special guests, meetings with game developers, tabletop games, comic books, contests and surprises prepared by sponsors and media partners, booths and exhibitions, concerts, meetings, premières and presentations of new games, and of course, the unforgettable atmosphere! WILL I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA TO ENTER THE THEME ZONES?
No. Admission to all the zones and participation in all the events held during Pixel Heaven 2019 is included in the price of the ticket. Afterparty in an exception - if you wish to take a part you have to order the entrance card additionally. The same goes for the River Raid Trophys (COMPETITOR pass).

Międzynarodowy turniej flipperowy w formule open. Odbędzie się w sobotę 31 maja. Wyniki Polish Pinball Open 2014 zaliczane będą do klasyfikacji European Championship Series oraz World Pinball Players Ranking (WPPR). WILL THERE BE HELD THE AFTERPARTY?
Good question! Naturally, approximately at 8.30 PM on Saturday smoothly (literally and figuratively) Pixel Heaven 2019 will assume Afterparty, during which you will make new friends and business contacts. It offers well-stocked bars and additional attractions, including concerts! More details soon.
WHAT ABOUT INDIE GAMES?
An exhibition for independent game developers. It features finalists of the Pixel Awards Europe competition, as well as several dozen independent game development studios from Poland and abroad – a great opportunity to present your games to potential buyers or to hire talented employees!
WHAT ABOUT SPECIAL GUESTS?
In 2013, the event featured Frederick Raynal, the designer of Alone in the Dark. The following year we hosted two legendary figures from our industry: Jon „Jops” Hare, the creator of Sensible Software (who also played a live concert for us) and Mike Montgomery, one of the founders of Bitmap Brothers. In 2015, our special guests included Jeff Minter (one of the first video game developers in the world), Dino Dini (known for the Kick Off series and other projects) and Sam Barlow (Silent Hill, Her Story). In 2016: Jon Hare and Ben Daglish (unique soundtracks for C64 games and more), and the Oliver Brothers (Dizzy series). The 2017 edition saw Bo Jangeborg (creator of the iconic Fairlight game), Charles Cecil (Broken Sword, Beneath a Steel Sky), Petro Tyschtschenko (former president of Amiga) and Rob Hubbard (creator of soundtracks for games such as Commando, International Karate, Jet Set Willy and Populous). 2018: Clive Townsend, Jim Bagley, Paul Cuisset... 2019 shall certainly not be poorer :)
